Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reliable, low-latency, cost-efficient production systems serving LLMs, VLMs, and other multimodal models at scale.
- Create offline and online evaluation and validation pipelines for reasoning quality, model behavior, hallucination risk, policy compliance, latency, and regression detection.
- Develop orchestration, state management, tool execution, guardrails, backend services, and infrastructure for production reasoning agents.
- Design telemetry and observability systems, including dashboards, traces, logs, alerts, and performance analytics for model inference and agent workflows.
- Optimize throughput, capacity, fallback behavior, model routing, and infrastructure utilization for millions of active users.
- Evaluate and standardize tools, frameworks, and deployment patterns for LLM and agent operations.
- Implement security controls, access patterns, and operational safeguards for responsible production use of generative AI.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience developing and operating cloud-based services, infrastructure, and APIs in production, ideally on AWS.
- Experience deploying and operating production ML systems, especially LLMs, VLMs, or other large-scale model systems, including release management, evaluation, and monitoring.
- Experience with observability and operational tooling for monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting.
- Demonstrated experience with CI/CD and production deployment workflows across development, staging, and production environments.
- Preferred experience with agentic development workflows, AI-assisted coding and review, and reusable skills or agents.
- Preferred experience with LangSmith, LangChain, LangGraph, or MLflow.
- Preferred experience with GPU-backed inference, model serving optimization, and scaling latency-sensitive applications.
- Preferred experience deploying or integrating hosted model APIs such as Anthropic, Gemini, or Bedrock.
- Preferred experience building validation and telemetry systems for generative AI.
- Preferred experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS.
- Preferred experience with Temporal or Step Functions.
- Preferred experience with Databricks or similar data, experimentation, evaluation, or ML platform tools.
- Preferred experience with IAM, secrets management, encryption, compliance-minded cloud controls, infrastructure as code, Terraform, and agent infrastructure.
