Responsibilities
- Develop and engineer end-to-end system features spanning user experience and backend code.
- Design and implement event-driven, real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka.
- Integrate Apache Kafka with backend services and microservices.
- Troubleshoot and optimize Kafka clusters for performance and reliability.
- Act as a subject matter expert, contribute to team decisions, and provide solutions across multiple teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts and improve development processes, productivity, and product quality.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with Apache Kafka.
- Proficiency in Apache Kafka, event-driven architecture, real-time data streaming, distributed systems, and message brokering concepts.
- Experience with backend development frameworks and integrating Apache Kafka with microservices.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization technologies for scalable deployments.
- 15 years of full-time education required.
