Base Salary
$123k - $172k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship new features, product improvements, and bug fixes within the team’s codebase.
- Own delivery of small-to-medium scoped projects with minimal oversight through completion.
- Participate in planning, implementation, testing, release, and post-launch support.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and help evolve testing strategies and practices.
- Document work clearly and provide thoughtful code reviews.
- Collaborate with customer support and other partners to investigate issues and prioritize customer feedback.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Go and working knowledge of the tools and technologies needed to complete tasks independently.
- Experience building or working with authorization or identity systems and understanding access control and permissions.
- Ability to navigate an existing codebase, reuse established patterns, and propose improvements.
- Commitment to testing, maintainability, and clarity in code and documentation.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills, including sharing progress, raising blockers, seeking feedback, and contributing constructively.
- Experience supporting production systems and participating in on-call or incident response rotations is preferred.
- Familiarity with improving developer workflows, including tooling, CI/CD, testing, and documentation, is preferred.
