Responsibilities
- Manage security-related access controls and IAM policies for Active Directory, Windows systems, and cloud platforms.
- Administer Microsoft Entra ID, including Privileged Identity Management, federated SSO groups, managed identities, and service principal names.
- Process access requests, resolve problem tickets, support access revalidation cycles, and meet defined service-level agreements.
- Automate IAM processes using PowerShell, Python, Generative AI, and other automation tools.
- Provide incident response and remediation for identity-related security incidents.
- Develop monitoring, alerting, metrics, reporting, and documentation for IAM activities.
- Support servers and applications during scheduled maintenance windows, including after-hours and weekends when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or at least three years of relevant work experience.
- At least two years of work experience and preferably three or more years of hands-on cybersecurity experience focused on IAM.
- Experience managing Active Directory, including security groups, user objects, group managed service accounts, service accounts, and keytabs.
- Hands-on experience securing cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Entra ID.
- Proficiency with PowerShell or Python for automating IAM processes.
- Experience implementing credential security with Azure Key Vault and AWS Secrets Manager.
- Experience with SIEM and CIEM tools for security monitoring, incident response, and identity management.
- Understanding of security principles such as separation of duties and least privilege, as well as IT infrastructure, operating systems, applications, communications, and network protocols.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- CISSP, CCSP, Azure certification, or another cloud-platform certification is highly desirable.
