Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality tools for artists across disciplines from layout through final pixels.
- Integrate and maintain Unreal Engine within the proprietary global studio pipeline.
- Serve as a technical point of contact for Unreal Engine and support artists and developers.
- Collaborate with production stakeholders and Technology team members to address project-specific needs.
- Write technical documentation and workflow guides.
- Test work rigorously and resolve bug reports and support requests.
Requirements
- Extensive professional programming experience in C++ and Python.
- Solid understanding of Unreal Engine, Blueprints, and C++ APIs.
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments.
- Experience with source control systems such as Perforce or Git.
- Ability to work in an agile development environment, manage multiple priorities, and solve technically ambiguous problems.
- Strong collaboration skills in a large, multidisciplinary technology department.
- A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred experience developing artist-facing Unreal tools or Blueprints across multiple platforms.
- Preferred familiarity with virtual production, VFX, feature animation workflows, Houdini, Maya, Nuke, or Katana.
- Preferred experience with multi-user Unreal development or VR/AR mobile applications.
