Responsibilities
- Understand client and software requirements and translate them into feasible designs.
- Develop, modify, and maintain software modules and applications.
- Automate software validation by designing and executing test cases and usage scenarios.
- Troubleshoot defects, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend system improvements.
- Evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.
- Prepare code, documentation, flowcharts, reports, and project status updates.
- Coordinate with project teams, functional teams, systems analysts, engineering staff, and customers.
- Capture client clarifications, respond to customer requests, and support on-time delivery.
- Participate in continuing education, programming-language training, and assigned certification activities.
Requirements
- Experience or ability to analyze software requirements, system flows, data usage, and work processes.
- Ability to code, evaluate software feasibility, modify applications, and resolve errors or defects.
- Ability to design and execute software validation and testing scenarios.
- Ability to document technical solutions clearly and prepare accurate project reports.
- Ability to collaborate with clients, project managers, analysts, engineers, and functional teams.
- Ability to support customer communication, issue tracking, quality assurance, and serviceability goals.
