Responsibilities
- Architect scalable enterprise applications using .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
- Design application architectures integrating C# .NET services, data-access layers, and SQL Server databases.
- Define integration patterns and interfaces for internal and external systems.
- Create architecture diagrams, models, and technical documentation.
- Review solution designs and code for architectural, security, performance, and quality requirements.
- Translate business and functional requirements into modular, scalable technical architectures.
- Optimize SQL Server schemas, queries, indexes, transactions, and database designs.
- Guide teams on ADO.NET data-access, error-handling, and connection-management practices.
- Evaluate .NET ecosystem tools, frameworks, and architectural patterns.
- Define testing strategies, performance benchmarks, validation approaches, deployment parameters, monitoring strategies, and rollback approaches.
- Mentor team members and contribute reusable components, templates, and reference implementations.
Requirements
- At least ten years of hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise applications with C#, .NET, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
- Strong practical knowledge of ADO.NET and SQL Server, including query optimization, transaction management, and database design for large-scale systems.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, clean coding principles, and software engineering practices.
- Experience working in agile or iterative delivery environments with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to convert complex functional and nonfunctional requirements into scalable architecture blueprints.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills for explaining architectural decisions, risks, and tradeoffs.
- Exposure to cloud-ready and container-friendly application architectures.
- Familiarity with authentication, authorization, data protection, and secure coding practices.
- Preferred Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, or equivalent .NET-focused credential.
