Responsibilities
- Contribute to AI-powered LLM agents, retrieval capabilities, and event intelligence for high-volume, real-time data.
- Build and maintain prompt and agent orchestration, retrieval pipelines, tool and API integrations, and inference services.
- Write production code, add tests, improve observability, and help optimize latency, throughput, cost, and reliability.
- Help take AI features from prototype to production and support evaluation and monitoring loops for accuracy and trustworthiness.
- Partner with platform, product, and applied-research teams to turn requirements into working code.
- Develop technical ownership through code reviews, pairing, mentorship, and progressively broader responsibilities.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience building and shipping production software.
- A degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Solid programming fundamentals and comfort working across application code and AI/model code.
- Hands-on experience building with modern AI, including LLMs, prompting, retrieval, or agent frameworks.
- Some exposure to distributed systems and reliable software operation at scale.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Personal, academic, or internship projects involving LLM applications, agents, RAG, or backend services are preferred.
- Exposure to AWS, GCP, Azure, containers, or Kubernetes is preferred.
- Familiarity with LLM APIs, LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector databases, Kafka, or Airflow is preferred.
- Interest in agentic systems, LLM evaluation and guardrails, anomaly detection, or event correlation is preferred.
- Open-source contributions are a plus.
