Responsibilities

  • Contribute to AI-powered LLM agents, retrieval capabilities, and event intelligence for high-volume, real-time data.
  • Build and maintain prompt and agent orchestration, retrieval pipelines, tool and API integrations, and inference services.
  • Write production code, add tests, improve observability, and help optimize latency, throughput, cost, and reliability.
  • Help take AI features from prototype to production and support evaluation and monitoring loops for accuracy and trustworthiness.
  • Partner with platform, product, and applied-research teams to turn requirements into working code.
  • Develop technical ownership through code reviews, pairing, mentorship, and progressively broader responsibilities.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of software engineering experience building and shipping production software.
  • A degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Solid programming fundamentals and comfort working across application code and AI/model code.
  • Hands-on experience building with modern AI, including LLMs, prompting, retrieval, or agent frameworks.
  • Some exposure to distributed systems and reliable software operation at scale.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Personal, academic, or internship projects involving LLM applications, agents, RAG, or backend services are preferred.
  • Exposure to AWS, GCP, Azure, containers, or Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Familiarity with LLM APIs, LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector databases, Kafka, or Airflow is preferred.
  • Interest in agentic systems, LLM evaluation and guardrails, anomaly detection, or event correlation is preferred.
  • Open-source contributions are a plus.
