Base Salary
$150k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day technical delivery for a cross-functional product engineering pod while contributing to solution design, complex implementation, code reviews, debugging, release readiness, and production support.
- Translate product requirements and architecture direction into bounded designs, service contracts, development tasks, and testable vertical slices while identifying dependencies and risks.
- Set practical standards for component and service boundaries, security, performance, observability, testing, and maintainability.
- Mentor engineers, provide actionable feedback, and drive technical decisions.
- Build and maintain Angular user interfaces, Python APIs, cloud-native services, real-time collaborative workflows, and resilient asynchronous jobs.
- Work with Product, BA, QA, and DevSecOps to demonstrate results early, manage technical debt, and support reliable delivery across distributed teams.
Requirements
- Strong recent hands-on Angular and TypeScript experience, including standalone components, RxJS or signals, state and change detection, typed Reactive Forms, Material/CDK, reusable components, accessibility, performance, and frontend testing.
- Experience building real-time collaborative interfaces using WebSockets, REST-backed durable changes, optimistic concurrency, reconnect handling, stale-state recovery, conflict presentation, notifications, and safe undo behavior.
- Production experience with Python and FastAPI or a comparable framework, including Pydantic-style contracts, SQLAlchemy or an ORM, API design, authentication, validation, asynchronous execution, long-running jobs, progress events, retries, idempotency, cancellation, and failure recovery.
- Experience with relational data modeling, SQL, PostgreSQL, versioning and audit patterns, AWS, containers, EKS or Kubernetes, S3, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience with unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing; code review; safe refactoring; SonarQube or static-analysis quality gates; secure dependency management; and application logs, metrics, and traces.
- Life sciences or clinical technology experience and familiarity with study-design concepts, CDISC, USDM, CDASH, ODM, GxP/CSV, ALCOA+, audit trails, electronic records, requirements and test traceability, or validated-state change control are preferred.
