Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build virtualized network device environments, fast incremental build systems, and AI-powered developer tooling.
- Own features end to end from design through deployment and operation.
- Partner with networking OS builders to identify release pain points and create tools that reduce friction.
- Shape the definition, vision, design, roadmap, development, and operationalization of customer-facing services.
- Help define team direction, participate in hiring, and mentor software engineers.
- Build and support CI/CD, testing, validation, release, and infrastructure tooling across Networking services.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
