Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction, architecture, design, and delivery of custom software and enterprise Autosys solutions.
- Design, build, integrate, configure, and administer Autosys Application Servers, Event Servers, Agents, and scheduling environments.
- Implement and manage EEM, including RBAC, user and credential management, security administration, and audit compliance.
- Develop Ansible playbooks for installation, configuration management, patch deployment, and compliance enforcement.
- Deploy and troubleshoot Autosys agents across Linux, Unix, and Windows environments.
- Design and implement high-availability, failover, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Provide L3 and L4 support for production-critical Autosys environments and troubleshoot issues across operating systems, databases, networks, and middleware.
- Develop automation frameworks, self-service portals, operational tooling, and GitLab pipeline integrations.
- Create architecture diagrams, runbooks, standard operating procedures, technical documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, DBA, application, and security teams across global locations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Autosys Administration is required.
- Eight or more years of hands-on Autosys Engineering experience is preferred.
- Expertise in Autosys R12 or later, Autosys architecture, advanced JIL scripting, workflow design, monitoring, troubleshooting, backup and recovery, and high availability is required.
- Experience with EEM, RBAC, user and credential management, security administration, and audit compliance is required.
- Experience with Linux and Unix administration, Bash or KSH shell scripting, agent installation, and system performance analysis is required.
- Experience with MSSQL Server administration, database integration, query optimization, execution-plan analysis, backup, recovery, and performance tuning is required.
- Experience developing Ansible playbooks and managing configuration, deployment, validation, and GitLab integrations is required.
- Preferred experience includes ServiceNow, Grafana, CMDB, RPM/MSI package development, Python or Perl, Jenkins, Splunk, enterprise monitoring tools, and network troubleshooting.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, documentation, technical-writing, collaboration, and independent-working skills are required.
- Experience building Autosys environments from scratch and supporting enterprise-scale scheduling platforms is preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
