Base Salary
$132k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Evaluate new models and technologies through proofs of concept and experiments.
- Develop tested, standards-compliant code, reusable tools, libraries, and open-source contributions.
- Build data models, model features, data quality tests, ETL/ELT pipelines, distributed architectures, and analytical applications using Python and SQL.
- Operationalize machine learning models and deploy algorithmic products across Azure and GCP cloud environments.
- Implement platform engineering, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, monitoring, incident detection, and troubleshooting practices.
- Partner with Data Scientists, Analysts, AI Engineers, and business teams to deliver scalable analytics and AI solutions.
- Coach and teach others while strengthening DevOps and architecture practices within AI Engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience with Python, SQL, data modeling, design, development, and deployment of data and analytics products.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps practices, Jira, GitHub Actions, unit testing and mocking, static code analysis, and source control tools such as GitHub.
- Knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure, including load balancing, autoscaling, firewalls, and authentication.
- Knowledge of Databricks, logging and monitoring technologies, CI/CD development, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule from the Cincinnati, Ohio office.
