Responsibilities
- Assess project context and needs to identify where AI practices, tools, and agentic solutions can create measurable value.
- Translate business and engineering needs into AI adoption opportunities and drive them through implementation and operationalization.
- Integrate AI practices into existing software development, testing, QA, and operational workflows.
- Facilitate workshops, onboarding, and enablement sessions for engineers and project stakeholders.
- Implement or adapt reference solutions and accelerators, provide post-rollout support, and resolve adoption or technical issues.
- Measure adoption, gather feedback, and share lessons learned with the AI R&D function and AI SDLC.
- Create reusable rollout playbooks, patterns, documentation, and guidance while operating across product, project, engineering, QA, and operations concerns.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of production software delivery experience, including experience as a Senior or Tech Lead.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals covering architecture, APIs, testing, maintainability, delivery practices, and production software.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development, AI agents, agentic workflows, and LLM APIs or model integration.
- Experience understanding business and engineering requirements, interviewing stakeholders, challenging assumptions, and proposing pragmatic solutions.
- Practical understanding of AI-system evaluation and testing, software quality practices, production support, troubleshooting, observability, and monitoring.
- Awareness of security, privacy, and responsible AI considerations.
- Strong communication, ownership, autonomy, adaptability, and comfort with ambiguity and frequent context switching.
- Preferred experience with LLM-based applications, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, tool or function calling, MCP, API design and integration, data pipelines, data management, containers, cloud-native development, AI coding assistants, and AI-enabled development workflows.
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, .NET, or similar is preferred.
