Quality Assurance Engineer (AI-Assisted Testing)-2
State StreetResponsibilities
- Design and develop reusable AI-agent skills for quality engineering activities.
- Convert testing methodologies, quality standards, and engineering practices into executable agent capabilities.
- Create and maintain agent instructions, prompts, workflows, and domain-specific knowledge assets.
- Configure and customize AI-agent capabilities and integrate them into existing software delivery processes.
- Develop and govern quality engineering knowledge repositories, testing frameworks, standards, playbooks, and best practices.
- Establish methods to evaluate agent effectiveness, accuracy, reliability, and business value.
- Validate AI-generated outputs against engineering standards and project requirements.
- Identify AI-related quality risks and support transparency, traceability, and governance controls.
- Explore emerging agentic AI technologies, orchestration approaches, and automation opportunities.
- Lead demonstrations, workshops, training, and adoption efforts across technical and non-technical teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, quality engineering, test automation, or related technical disciplines.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and quality engineering practices.
- Experience working in Agile software delivery environments.
- Experience developing agents with GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, or Google Vertex.
- Experience with several of generative AI platforms and tools, large language models, prompt engineering, Python, knowledge base design, workflow automation, API integration, RAG, and test automation frameworks.
- Experience developing or configuring AI agents for enterprise use cases and building reusable domain-specific AI skills.
- Experience applying AI solutions within software delivery or quality engineering environments.
- Experience evaluating and improving AI-generated outputs.
- Strong communication, presentation, storytelling, facilitation, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to translate complex AI concepts into practical business solutions and learn emerging technologies quickly.
- Financial services industry experience is a plus.
