Responsibilities
- Contribute to testing and verification activities for DO-178C-compliant avionics software.
- Collaborate with software development, systems engineering, and quality teams.
- Apply test methodologies and test design practices.
- Analyze software and system requirements and review architectural and detailed design.
- Use requirements-management, version-control, static-analysis, and avionics testing tools.
- Prepare technical documentation and support integration-laboratory activities.
- Work primarily at the Turin Corso Francia site, with possible short daily trips to Caselle Nord.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in avionics software testing.
- Preferred master’s degree in computer engineering or computer science; equivalent engineering or scientific qualifications are accepted.
- Knowledge of the avionics software lifecycle and DO-178C.
- Knowledge of Lua and Python scripting, software and system requirements analysis, architectural design, and detailed design.
- Knowledge of RTOS environments, preferably Green Hills INTEGRITY.
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-1553, ARINC429, Ethernet, and TCP/IP avionics protocols and buses.
- Knowledge of Git, requirements-management tools such as DOORS, and static-analysis tools such as GNAT SAS, Understand, or Polyspace.
- Good test methodology and test-design foundations; avionics testing-tool experience and basic telecommunications knowledge are advantageous.
- English proficiency at B2 level or above, written and spoken.
- Strong teamwork, communication, planning, documentation, problem-solving, quality-focus, adaptability, and procedural-discipline skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
