Base Salary
$129k - $292k/yr
Responsibilities
- Train, test, deploy, and maintain AI and machine learning capabilities across Army mission sets.
- Apply best-fit AI/ML solutions and guide the direction of critical enterprise solutions.
- Retrieve, parse, and process structured and unstructured data.
- Implement advanced data science, natural language processing, and machine learning models.
- Design, develop, operationalize, and maintain complex enterprise-scale data science applications.
- Use algorithms, machine learning models, and MLOps to produce analytical or visual products.
- Collaborate with solution architects, intelligence analysts, cloud architects, data engineers, and data scientists.
- Guide Army enterprise clients in introducing AI and automation to manual processes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience engineering code in an object-oriented language such as Python, C, C++, Go, Rust, Java, or Haskell.
- At least 4 years of experience creating software for retrieving, parsing, and processing structured and unstructured data.
- At least 3 years of experience implementing advanced data science, natural language processing, or machine learning models.
- At least 3 years of experience coding dataframes using Pandas, Polars, or PySpark.
- At least 2 years of experience designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining complex enterprise-scale data science applications.
- At least 2 years of experience working with algorithms, machine learning models, or MLOps to produce analytical or visual products.
- Knowledge of JSON, Parquet, Avro, or CSV data formats.
- Secret clearance and eligibility for access to classified information.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Preferred qualifications include 5+ years with public cloud, distributed data or computing tools, NoSQL databases, and data warehousing or databases; 2+ years with Git-based collaboration and distributed ETL/ELT; a relevant master’s degree; and relevant cloud, data analytics, machine learning, solutions architecture, software engineering, web development, or data science certifications.
