Base Salary
$130k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop new features and innovative products for IXL Learning's educational offerings
- Work on projects from scratch and within existing codebases
- Build backend wiring, application logic, and user interfaces
- Drive design, coding, documentation, testing, debugging, and tuning for the team
- Provide accurate estimates, evaluate feasibility, and assess platforms and technologies
- Collaborate across development teams to design and release products
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Excellent programming skills in Java or another object-oriented language
- Strong communication, analytical-reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for improving education through technology
