Base Salary
$254k - $480k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, architect, develop, and implement large-scale software platforms, systems, and services.
- Define and lead critical architectural decisions and provide technical direction for a software development team.
- Define system functionality and develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
- Lead the full software development lifecycle from preliminary analysis through testing and deployment.
- Build high-quality software that complies with coding standards and technical designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver work in rapid product development.
- Handle complex module research and development.
- Mentor senior and mid-level software engineers.
Requirements
- A master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field plus 4 years of related experience.
- Alternatively, a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in one of the listed fields plus 6 years of related experience, including 5 years of post-bachelor's progressive related experience.
- At least 4 years of experience managing the full release lifecycle, including development, builds, testing, validation, and deployment.
- At least 4 years of experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed online software services using Java, Go, JavaScript, Ruby, or Python.
- At least 4 years of experience maintaining and debugging software services using Unix or Linux.
- At least 4 years of experience across the software development lifecycle for complex products and platforms, including backend and infrastructure services using Go or Java.
- At least 4 years of experience designing software service architectures for high-throughput and fault-tolerant services.
- At least 4 years of experience writing testable, maintainable, and low-latency software using Golang, Java, Python, or C++.
