Base Salary
$195k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Plan system and software development deployments while meeting software compliance standards.
- Maintain and enhance the core ServiceNow platform and develop new capabilities based on customer requirements.
- Develop, test, deploy, customize, and configure ServiceNow applications, modules, user interfaces, and workflows.
- Collaborate with ServiceNow system engineers and developers to deliver solutions and handle configuration changes and requests.
- Identify system deficiencies, recommend solutions, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain and continuously improve processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools.
- Ensure consistent and reliable configurations across development, testing, integration, and production environments.
- Provide ongoing production and end-user support and document testing and system corrections.
- Research, design, develop, and modify enterprise-wide systems and applications software.
- Evaluate hardware and software interfaces, operational requirements, and overall system characteristics.
Requirements
- TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
- At least 16 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s or master’s degree is required.
- At least five years of hands-on ServiceNow product development experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow Development Platform and modules including ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HR, CSM, asset management, change management, and customer development is required.
- Significant ServiceNow development experience using JavaScript and other coding applications is required.
- Oracle or MySQL database administration experience is required.
- Ability to estimate work effort, communicate effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and work with emerging technologies and tools.
- Ability to deliver enhancements, support implementations, and provide continuous support while preserving system integrity.
- High initiative, creativity, and technical ability, along with the ability to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
- Should work toward achieving the ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification while on task.
- Desired qualifications include the ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification, IT project management experience, and familiarity with Scrum, Lean, Agile, and DevOps.
- Experience with Java, Ruby, DevOps, and DevSecOps is desired.
