Base Salary
$123k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop GIS and remote-sensing software for U.S. DoD and intelligence community requirements.
- Build image-processing and analysis capabilities for multispectral, hyperspectral, thermal, radar, and motion imagery.
- Develop cloud-friendly desktop and enterprise software supporting defense and intelligence workflows and formats including NITF, GeoTIFF, and MISB-compliant video.
- Create advanced image-processing components, algorithms, and APIs.
- Integrate community toolkits and libraries into ArcGIS with other software developers and product engineers.
- Design applications, solve complex technical problems, and support strong user experiences.
- Lead development projects and mentor junior developers as appropriate.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of development experience with high-performance imagery applications.
- Software development experience with COTS or GOTS software.
- Experience with C/C++ or advanced C#/.NET software development.
- Significant experience with remote sensing, image processing, photogrammetry, and/or image-analysis application development.
- Experience in defense and/or intelligence communities.
- Ability to work with controlled unclassified information.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret Clearance with SCI access.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, geography, engineering, remote sensing, photogrammetry, or a related field.
- Preferred experience includes graphics and GPU programming, Esri APIs, processing-pipeline optimization, NITF, ArcGIS, ENVI, Socet GXP, or RemoteView.
- An active U.S. Top Secret clearance with SCI access is preferred.
