Base Salary
$60k - $100k/yr
Responsibilities
- Use AI to identify and implement operational improvements and efficiencies for Production Support.
- Investigate and resolve complex production issues affecting user experience.
- Interface with critical vendor systems using SQL and API calls to research customer complaints.
- Commit fixes to backend systems.
- Consult with Operations to automate manual processes.
- Bridge Engineering and Customer Experience teams and understand complex systems spanning functional teams and third-party vendors.
Requirements
- At least one year of engineering experience with proficiency in at least one backend programming language.
- Interest in learning and coding in TypeScript; OnePay uses Node.js and TypeScript throughout its stack.
- Experience with SQL and REST APIs.
- Excellent written communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.
- Knowledge of payment systems such as card processing and ACH is preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS is preferred.
- Shell scripting experience with Bash, Zsh, or a similar shell is preferred.
