Responsibilities
- Design and develop applications according to functional and technical programming standards.
- Develop, code, and enhance custom software components across systems and applications.
- Program in Python and Node.js using AWS Lambda.
- Automate tasks and processes in Amazon environments.
- Integrate other cloud platforms and third-party tools or systems with AWS.
- Develop backend or full-stack solutions based on business requirements.
- Implement and document REST and SOAP web service integrations.
- Prepare technical specifications and coordinate application development and testing with the team.
- Provide subject-matter-expert support for new business proposals.
- Ensure applications operate reliably and meet service commitments.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Python.
- Advanced proficiency in AWS DevOps.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
- Hands-on backend development experience.
- Experience with AWS S3, AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, and general AWS infrastructure.
- Expertise in web service integration and implementation using REST and SOAP.
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
- Python certification and AWS DevOps certification are listed as bonus qualifications.
- Advanced software engineering knowledge, intermediate problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, beginner cloud-computing knowledge, and intermediate automation skills are listed as bonus qualifications.
