Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust backend infrastructure and logic for large-scale data and compute workflows.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver solutions meeting performance, reliability, and security requirements.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment and monitoring.
- Write clean functional code and unit tests, and perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting under guidance.
- Contribute to engineering automation, technical architecture, standards, and operational best practices.
- Apply secure coding principles and review code for compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus two years of related experience or a master’s degree plus no years of related experience.
- Preferred one to two years of full software development lifecycle experience, including design, development, and testing.
- Exposure to Go and Python programming, Linux systems and internals, and debugging.
- Fundamental knowledge of LAN, WAN, VLAN, TCP/IP, routers, and switches across Layers 2 and 3.
- Preferred exposure to distributed systems, data-center fabric solutions, cloud architecture and services, Git, and build processes.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, ownership, adaptability, and ability to learn new technologies.
