Responsibilities
- Build core product features for a data pipeline service.
- Write connectors integrating with source systems and data warehouses.
- Contribute to feature enhancements, bug fixes, and performance and scalability improvements.
- Review code, contribute to architectural designs, and mentor junior colleagues.
- Participate periodically in an on-call rotation.
- Help ensure the reliability and security of customers’ data infrastructure.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience writing production code.
- Experience with reliable distributed systems and high-volume data management platforms operating under strict SLAs.
- Ability to write well-structured, performant code and design software solutions meeting project requirements.
- Expertise with Java, cloud platforms, cloud-based APIs, and databases.
- Ability to troubleshoot existing code and solve technical problems.
- Comfort using AI coding assistants such as Copilot, Claude Code, or Codex.
- Experience with data processing, ETL/ELT, or cloud-based platforms is a bonus.
- Experience with OAuth, webhooks, or rate-limited third-party APIs is a bonus.
- Knowledge of observability tools such as New Relic or Grafana is a plus.
