Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and support features across backend services.
- Own backend modules end to end and develop scalable, multi-tier, distributed systems.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and QA to deliver features.
- Own application and infrastructure performance and stability.
- Evaluate and adopt tools and practices that improve delivery speed.
- Safeguard sensitive company data and report suspected security incidents according to ISMS policies and procedures.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of backend engineering experience at product companies.
- A CS or Engineering degree; IIT or top NIT education is preferred.
- Expertise in Java/J2EE or .NET (C#) and design patterns.
- Strong data structures, algorithms, and multithreading fundamentals.
- Experience building scalable web services.
- Proficiency with MySQL, Postgres, SQL Server, or MongoDB.
- Experience with profiling, performance tuning, unit tests, and automation tests.
- Experience with e-commerce applications.
- Experience with AI coding agents such as Claude Code or Codex.
