Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement systems that integrate LLMs into real product workflows.
- Develop robust systems that account for model limitations and failure modes.
- Create evaluation datasets and tooling to measure model performance.
- Design and optimize retrieval pipelines for LLM applications.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to build polished features.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and contribute to system architecture.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience building production systems.
- Experience with large language models in production environments.
- Ability to build evaluation frameworks and design datasets.
- Familiarity with retrieval augmented generation systems and vector databases.
- Understanding of modern language models, transformers, and attention mechanisms.
- Comfortable running experiments and using feedback to guide improvements.
