Responsibilities
- Design workflows that move tickets from idea to merged code with agent-assisted implementation.
- Build coding and review agents, MCP integrations, CI hooks, and a shared skills library.
- Establish review gates and evaluations to ensure agent output meets quality and security standards.
- Own the web side of the product in Vue and represent the team in the Web Developers Guild.
- Ship production product software using AI-driven workflows.
- Coach engineers and help other teams adopt new AI-enabled engineering practices.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building AI developer tooling, including agent skills or rules, MCP servers, custom agents, or AI steps in CI.
- Senior-level experience shipping production software with strong JavaScript or TypeScript web development skills.
- Daily use of coding agents in production work and understanding of their failure modes and how to detect them.
- Sound architecture judgment and the ability to influence engineering practices through coaching and practical enablement.
- Conversational English-language skills.
- Production Vue experience is helpful.
- Python backend, iOS with Swift, or Android with Kotlin experience is helpful.
- Experience leading engineering-practice changes across multiple teams is helpful.
