DevOps Engineer - Platform Integrations

Responsibilities
- Design and build integrations among internal platform services, infrastructure systems, and third-party vendor platforms.
- Develop APIs, services, background workers, and tools for automation, orchestration, coordination, and event-driven infrastructure operations.
- Write production-quality code in Go, Python, and where applicable Rust.
- Integrate software with Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
- Build logging, metrics, and tracing into services and resolve issues across distributed systems.
- Improve platform integration, reduce manual work, and contribute to internal platform development standards.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to translate infrastructure capabilities into usable APIs and services.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps development, or platform engineering.
- Strong programming experience with Go and/or Python; Rust experience is a strong plus.
- Experience building APIs, services, and system integrations.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts and event-driven architectures.
- Experience working with Linux systems and infrastructure platforms.
- Preferred experience integrating compute, storage, networking, and Kubernetes environments.
- Familiarity with message queues or pub/sub systems, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Ansible and third-party APIs or vendor platforms.
- Exposure to infrastructure at scale or cloud service provider environments.
