Responsibilities
- Develop test strategies and automate functional and non-functional test suites using test frameworks, Python, Pytest, and Bruno.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, test harnesses, and test infrastructure.
- Perform REST API, performance, resilience, quality control, and software system testing.
- Integrate automated tests into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and monitor product development and usage for quality issues.
- Log, prioritize, retest, and track defects and testing metrics using Jira and Zephyr Enterprise.
- Promote testability, bug prevention, accessibility, privacy, engineering practices, and advanced quality concepts across solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM major or equivalent experience.
- 2–5 years of software test automation experience using Python and Pytest.
- Hands-on REST API testing experience with Bruno, Postman, or RestAssured.
- Working knowledge of GitHub version control and Jenkins CI/CD.
- Basic awareness of GCP, AWS, or Azure cloud platforms.
- Experience building test scripts in PyCharm and tracking defects with Jira and Zephyr Enterprise.
- Cloud certification is strongly preferred.
