Responsibilities
- Develop test cases and automation scripts for data products and GenAI platforms.
- Validate data migration, ETL, data warehouse, ingestion, mapping, reconciliation, historical, and incremental-load processes.
- Use SQL, Python, Pytest, dataframes, and related tools to automate data validation and testing.
- Apply testing and defect-management lifecycle practices and contribute to test automation frameworks.
- Contribute to performance and load testing for data handling under stress.
- Collaborate with engineering, support, product, and business teams to define test cases and execute data validations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in data testing, including data migration, ETL, and data warehouse testing.
- Extensive SQL knowledge for testing and analysis.
- Hands-on Python and Pytest experience for data-testing automation.
- Experience with data migration validation approaches and data-validation automation.
- Clear understanding of the AWS ecosystem and data services such as S3 and Glue.
- Thorough knowledge of testing and defect-management lifecycles.
- Experience with professional software engineering practices across the software development lifecycle.
- B.E., B.Tech, or M.Tech in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent.
- Generative AI experience, including LLM or RAG technologies, is preferred.
- Experience with Selenium automation testing using Python and Pytest is preferred.
