Responsibilities

  • Perform verification and validation of avionics embedded software.
  • Develop and drive common test architectures, environments, strategies, tools, and processes.
  • Apply C, C++, Python, embedded programming, and model-based testing techniques.
  • Use debuggers, simulators, and structural coverage tools including VectorCAST, LDRA, and TRACE32.
  • Support DO-178B/C planning, certification, design assurance, and related supplements.
  • Drive test methodology and test design automation improvements.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders and propose technical improvements.
  • Implement VPD ideas and RDE reduction initiatives.
  • Support cockpit display products and activities such as change impact analysis, tool qualification, technical reviews, certification documentation, and SOI#3 audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, such as ECE, CS, or EEE.
  • At least 7 years of experience in software development, systems, or software verification, including a minimum of 5 years in software verification and validation.
  • Strong knowledge of software development and verification processes, TSO certification, and DO-178B/C design assurance guidelines.
  • Strong understanding of software verification methods, tools, industry standards, and industry direction.
  • Strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and technical decision-making skills.
  • Understanding of avionics and cockpit display products.
  • Motivation to contribute to technical initiatives and continuous improvement.
