Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise Next-Generation Firewalls and cloud-native security services.
- Provide escalation support, isolate network faults, perform deep packet analysis, and conduct root-cause analysis during test executions.
- Build AI-assisted and agentic security workflows for test generation, failure triage, debugging, log analysis, and engineering productivity.
- Develop automation frameworks using Python, REST APIs, and configuration automation tools.
- Use host tools and traffic generators to replicate production environments, stress-test firewall capabilities, validate functionality, and identify network anomalies.
- Partner with engineering teams to file critical software bugs and scope future product feature requests.
- Lead complex technical initiatives, participate in design reviews, and communicate technical risks, trade-offs, quality metrics, and recommendations.
Requirements
- 4 to 8 years of experience, as stated in the job title.
- Hands-on experience using LLMs such as GPT and Claude for test automation.
- Familiarity with Python-based AI libraries and REST API integrations.
- Knowledge of Docker and containers.
- Deep hands-on expertise with TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IPSec, SSL-VPN, NAT, and DNS/DHCP.
- Practical knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP, along with Docker, Kubernetes, and VMware ESXi.
- Experience with Linux and Windows host tools and traffic generators.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, operating systems, networking, and platforms, with the ability to drive issues to root cause.
- Hands-on experience building AI- or LLM-based workflows for test generation, failure triage, debugging, log analysis, and engineering productivity.
- CCNP or CCIE certification is strongly preferred.
- Ability to independently lead technical initiatives, influence cross-functional teams, and translate customer and field issues into product-quality improvements.
- Strong communication skills for articulating technical risks, trade-offs, quality metrics, and recommendations.
