Responsibilities
- Define test data strategy and plan data creation, masking, and refresh cycles.
- Source, generate, provision, and validate test data, including implementation of an EDM tool.
- Coordinate with migration teams to ensure migrated data is ready and loaded into test environments.
- Align data availability with environment schedules and maintain cross-system consistency.
- Coordinate Test, Development, Business, Infrastructure, and DBA teams as the central data contact.
- Design and execute functional, system, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios.
- Identify, log, triage, retest, and drive closure of high-impact defects.
- Track data readiness, maintain workstream plans, and report risks and blockers.
- Support SIT, UAT, regression, and release testing cycles.
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain reusable test data sets.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Proven hands-on experience as a Senior Test Engineer or Test Analyst on medium to large programs.
- Strong experience in functional, system, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Ability to independently design, execute, and maintain test cases and complex end-to-end scenarios.
- Strong understanding of business processes, solution flows, system interactions, and test data dependencies.
- Experience identifying, logging, and driving closure of high-impact defects.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, ALM, or equivalent.
- Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and regression testing cycles.
- Familiarity with environment coordination and readiness activities.
- Experience validating cross-system integrations and interfaces.
- Working knowledge of defect lifecycle management, including triage and retesting.
- Exposure to test automation concepts and collaboration with automation engineers.
- Strong discipline in test execution, evidence capture, and status reporting.
- Hands-on experience with ASP.NET MVC is required.
