Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive manual and automated test plans and strategies.
- Create and execute automated test scripts and manual test cases to validate software functionality and quality.
- Perform UI, API, and microservices testing, including positive, negative, edge-case, and comprehensive coverage scenarios.
- Conduct root cause analysis, document defects, and work with developers to support resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on requirements, design discussions, acceptance criteria, code reviews, and stakeholder communication.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, risk and control activities, and technical knowledge-sharing communities.
Requirements
- Experience with both manual and automation testing.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Hands-on experience with UI and API functionality and automation testing.
- Hands-on experience in API and microservices testing.
- Automation experience with BDD using Cucumber, Selenium with Java, WebDriver, Karate, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Prior Barclays, Cards, or Payments domain experience is preferred.
