Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive manual and automated test plans and strategies.
- Create and execute test cases and automation scripts for UI, API, and microservices functionality.
- Perform positive, negative, edge-case, and comprehensive test coverage analysis.
- Analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to acceptance criteria.
- Investigate defects through root-cause analysis and collaborate with developers on resolution.
- Participate in code reviews, promote code quality, and contribute to testing process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders while managing relevant risks and controls.
Requirements
- Experience with both manual and automated testing.
- Experience testing and automating UI and API functionality.
- Hands-on experience with API and microservices testing.
- Hands-on automation experience with Cucumber, Selenium, Java, WebDriver, Karate, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Prior Barclays, Cards, or Payments domain experience is preferred.
