Responsibilities
- Work with product owners and developers to ensure requirements are effectively tested.
- Coordinate with QA leads on regression coverage, risk assessment, and communication.
- Prepare and execute test plans and test scripts.
- Identify edge situations, user interface flaws, and potential vulnerabilities.
- Raise, monitor, and retest defects in a timely manner.
- Analyze root causes of complex technical challenges and recommend product-quality improvements.
- Provide estimates and feedback to the QA Lead and Project Manager for project scheduling.
- Define and use comprehensive, clear test reports and templates.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of required experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on testing experience.
- Experience working in a continuous delivery model and designing test cases.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum, plus knowledge of Kanban, Waterfall, and other software testing and development approaches.
- Experience with test case management tools such as TestRail, HP ALM, or Zephyr.
- Experience managing defects using tools such as JIRA.
- Experience across functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Ability to select relevant test types, methods, and approaches, including boundary-condition testing and identifying opportunities for test tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent knowledge of test methodologies.
- ISEB or ISTQB Foundation-level software testing qualification.
- Knowledge of test automation is an advantage, including Selenium, Postman, Appium, or JMeter.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
