Responsibilities
- Own key features and components of the Ecosystem Team.
- Design and develop products involving Kubernetes, OpenStack, and other technologies.
- Participate in requirements, design, coding, unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Design and implement automation tests for CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct code reviews and address issues found in CI pipelines or production.
- Instrument code to collect metrics for monitoring and supportability.
- Collaborate across backend, frontend, infrastructure, and domain teams.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on software development experience using Go, Java, or C++.
- Strong programming skills and foundational knowledge of computer science and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with the Spring Framework.
- Excellent system design and object-oriented design skills.
- Experience implementing REST APIs and integrations with frontend applications and other services.
- Understanding of networking and distributed-system design.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to deliver on schedule.
- BS or MS in Computer Science.
- Preferred: experience in agile environments and familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or other infrastructure software.
- Preferred: experience deploying global services in AWS or Azure and working on live enterprise-scale services.
- Preferred: understanding of complex deployment issues involving security, networking, load balancers, service dependencies, and disaster recovery.
