Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Playwright.
- Create and execute automated test scripts using Java and C#.
- Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned with business requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Build API test automation using Cucumber BDD, Karate, and other modern automation frameworks.
- Test databases, Kafka messaging systems, asynchronous and distributed services, web services, servers, and microservices.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and analyze test results.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide detailed defect reports.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and DevOps teams.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and drive improvements in automation coverage, execution efficiency, and release quality.
- Participate in requirements reviews and provide quality-focused feedback during design discussions.
- Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards and processes.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, test automation, and quality engineering.
- At least 7 years of strong backend testing experience, with primary focus on backend systems rather than UI testing.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Selenium, Playwright, Java, and C#.
- Experience with API test automation using Cucumber BDD, Karate, and other modern automation frameworks.
- Experience with SQL and database validation, Kafka messaging systems, log analysis and automation, AWS services, and Jenkins.
- Experience testing asynchronous and distributed services, web services, servers, and microservices.
- Experience building scalable automation frameworks and driving quality initiatives.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
- Experience mentoring junior QA engineers and promoting testing best practices.
