Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Playwright.
- Create and execute automated test scripts with Java and C#.
- Develop test strategies, plans, and cases, and perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Automate API testing using Cucumber BDD, Karate, and other modern frameworks.
- Test databases, Kafka messaging systems, web services, servers, microservices, and asynchronous or distributed services.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed defect reports.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and DevOps teams.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and drive improvements in automation coverage, execution efficiency, and release quality.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, test automation, quality engineering, and backend testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Java, and C#.
- Experience with API test automation using Cucumber BDD, Karate, and modern automation frameworks.
- Experience with SQL, database validation, Kafka, log analysis, AWS services, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience testing asynchronous and distributed services, web services and servers, and microservices.
- Ability to develop test strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
