Base Salary
$139k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define target-state architecture and technology roadmaps for one or more business domains.
- Lead and conduct hands-on technology proofs of concept and prototypes to validate architecture solutions.
- Guide technology modernization and continuous transformation efforts to reduce technical debt.
- Partner with leadership and development teams to align architectural direction with technology execution.
- Communicate architectural strategy, build stakeholder buy-in, and influence decisions across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
- At least six additional years of architecture or software engineering experience.
- Strong architecture expertise and recent hands-on engineering experience with modern technologies.
- Experience architecting large-scale technology initiatives and supporting transformational change.
- Ability to define strategies, evaluate root causes and alternatives, exercise sound judgment, and adapt priorities to changing circumstances.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Insurance technology experience and strong knowledge of the insurance industry are preferred.
