Base Salary
$84k - $105k/yr
Responsibilities
- Assemble physical prototype rigs, sensor arrays, 3D-printed mounts, and microelectronic setups.
- Instrument industrial, automotive, and consumer systems to capture and preprocess high-frequency time-series sensor data.
- Build DSP pipelines for FFTs, spectral analysis, filtering, and feature extraction.
- Deploy optimized and quantized TinyML models onto microcontrollers.
- Write real-time C/C++ firmware and bare-metal or RTOS drivers.
- Manage DMA buffers and implement SPI, I2C, UART, and CAN communication.
- Collaborate with customers and internal product teams to debug edge firmware and demonstrate hardware solutions.
- Lead junior engineers on lab tasks, document engineering practices, and provide cross-functional technical leadership.
Requirements
- B.S. or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 2–3+ years of hands-on experience in embedded software, physical hardware prototyping, digital signal processing, and real-time edge computing.
- Experience with physical fabrication, 3D printing, electrical assembly, PCB bring-up, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG/SWD debugging.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills for constrained microcontrollers and experience with bare-metal or RTOS development.
- Experience with DMA buffer management and low-level SPI, I2C, UART, and CAN drivers.
- Understanding of DSP for time-series or audio data and practical experience deploying quantized ML models directly onto microcontrollers.
