Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable automated test suites for browser-based web applications.
- Create automation strategies and scripts using Playwright, JavaScript or TypeScript, or Selenium.
- Perform continuous security, API, and regression testing.
- Configure test data and environments to support accurate test execution.
- Apply page object model and other automation design patterns.
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases and reproduce, document, and analyze defects.
- Validate API responses, status codes, payload schemas, and error handling.
- Monitor testing outcomes and report results, defects, blockers, and regression impacts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews and team discussions, and align testing strategies with project goals.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute solutions to work-related problems.
- Use AI tools and understand, use, and enhance existing agentic systems while validating LLM, RAG, and chatbot systems.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience is required, including 3–6+ years of hands-on Playwright experience or Selenium experience.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Proficiency in Playwright and strong knowledge of automated testing principles and practices.
- Experience designing and implementing continuous testing strategies and automated frameworks.
- Experience with API testing, including familiarity with Postman and API response, status code, payload schema, and error validation.
- Solid knowledge of standard QA practices, defect investigation, regression assessment, and root cause analysis.
- Experience with test management tools such as Jira Xray, TestRail, or Zephyr.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining defects, results, and blockers to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of GitHub Copilot and Claude, agentic systems, LLM and RAG systems, and chatbots.
