Responsibilities

  • Design and implement iOS features from technical design through release and production monitoring.
  • Maintain and improve the existing iOS application by addressing bugs, technical debt, performance, and reliability.
  • Modularize the iOS codebase and define module boundaries, dependencies, and interfaces.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable Swift code using SwiftUI and UIKit.
  • Build automated tests and contribute to CI/CD and release automation.
  • Monitor production applications, investigate issues, and contribute to incident response and postmortems.
  • Integrate accessibility, security, privacy, and data protection into everyday development.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, Android engineers, and backend engineers on end-to-end experiences.
  • Improve engineering practices through code reviews, documentation, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
  • Own technical topics within the SAS team and help improve team processes.

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 4 years of professional iOS application development experience.
  • Strong Swift skills and experience writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Hands-on experience with SwiftUI and UIKit in mature applications.
  • Strong understanding of iOS architecture, software design principles, modularization, and dependency management.
  • Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and App Store release processes.
  • Understanding of the iOS application lifecycle, performance, concurrency, and networking.
  • Experience integrating mobile applications with backend APIs and understanding client-server interactions.
  • Awareness of mobile security, privacy, and data protection principles.
  • Proactive, organized, communicative, collaborative, and ownership-oriented working style.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include Android development with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, backend development, large-scale consumer application experience, mobile observability, performance monitoring, incident investigation, mobile CI/CD and build-tooling improvements, and accessible mobile application development.
