Base Salary
$117k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own platform architecture, standards, technical direction, data model governance, org structure decisions, integration patterns, and release strategy for platforms including Salesforce.
- Guide integrations and data architecture between Salesforce, marketing automation, customer success platforms, and data and analytics platforms, including data contracts and Salesforce write-back patterns.
- Provide technical input for sales forecasting, quote-to-cash, pricing, contract lifecycle management, customer success, marketing automation, and AI-agent capabilities.
- Own the shared technical and architectural vision within the Agile Release Train and align teams to a common technical direction.
- Define architectural enablers and non-functional requirements and manage enablement capacity in the ART backlog.
- Partner with Solution Architecture and Enterprise Architecture teams to maintain consistent platform, value-stream, and portfolio-level decisions.
- Participate in PI Planning, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt events, and mentor engineering teams on architecture and technical practices.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and ensure platform configurations meet security, privacy, data governance, quality, and operability standards.
- Promote Lean-Agile, DevSecOps, and continuous delivery practices within the ART.
Requirements
- 10+ years of industry experience designing and implementing technical solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in a platform, system, or solution architecture role.
- Hands-on architecture experience with at least two platform categories, including CRM, data and analytics, IT service management/workflow automation, or enterprise resource planning platforms.
- Experience working in a SAFe environment or another scaled Agile framework, including PI Planning and ART-level ceremonies.
- Working knowledge of data model governance, integration patterns, and release/lifecycle management within a major SaaS platform.
- Ability to deliver platform-level technical solutions meeting quality, security, and operability requirements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction without formal authority.
- Preferred experience with Salesforce platform architecture, data and analytics platforms, lakehouse architecture, propensity or ML data pipelines, ERP, contract lifecycle management, IT service management, workflow automation, marketing automation, customer success, conversation intelligence, e-signature, contract platforms, AI-agent platforms, and governance.
- SAFe Architect Certification or SAFe certification is preferred, or willingness to obtain it.
