Base Salary

$180k - $205k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native service architecture for software development teams.
  • Provide technical leadership, implementation priorities, and practical engineering guidance to implementation and mission teams.
  • Support enterprise software solutions and servers in AWS environments.
  • Perform security patching and system administration, including privileged access duties.
  • Maintain mission-critical applications and services through a 24/7/365 on-call rotation, typically one full week every two months.
  • Support a COTS service that provides attribute data through an LDAP interface to hundreds of sponsor systems.
  • Develop innovative solutions and perform related job duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • U.S. citizenship or legal permanent residency, with documentation required for qualification.
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 11 years of relevant experience.
  • Expert proficiency with Linux-based operating systems and strong Bash skills.
  • Experience with security accreditation, AWS, cloud technologies, infrastructure-as-code, and enterprise cloud architecture.
  • Experience with Elastic tools, including Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats.
  • Ability to perform system administration and privileged access duties and participate in the on-call rotation.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD-related technologies, including GitHub, Jenkins, Puppet, Docker, and Rundeck.
  • Experience using the AWS Console and CLI to automate infrastructure deployment and manage cloud services.
  • Experience working with cross-functional software development, systems engineering/verification and validation, security, compliance, and quality assurance teams.
  • Experience in Agile environments, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow complex software and infrastructure deployment instructions.
  • Successful completion of Cherokee Federal pre-employment qualifications.
