Base Salary
$150k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement enterprise data management products and Oracle Integrated Cloud solutions for a government customer.
- Provide technology leadership to the managed services team and communicate directly with clients and partners.
- Assess hosting-environment risks and impacts, support knowledge transfer, and collaborate with software development teams on infrastructure requirements.
- Establish development tools, guidelines, and conventions for Shell Scripting, Windows PowerShell, Python, and other required languages.
- Design, code, test, maintain, and improve Infrastructure as Code scripts.
- Create technical specifications and test plans, investigate new technologies, and evaluate products.
- Develop infrastructure monitoring strategies and instrument the OCI environment.
- Troubleshoot business-critical systems during outages and provide scalable, efficient technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of related experience in software infrastructure development and management.
- At least two years of Infrastructure as a Service experience with OCI.
- Experience designing new systems, assuming ownership of existing systems, and delivering significant improvements.
- Strong technical design, development, troubleshooting, communication, presentation, prioritization, and collaboration skills.
- Agile Development experience, preferably with Scrum.
- OCI or Oracle database and middleware certifications are preferred.
- Active Security+ certification is required.
- Must be eligible for a security clearance; an active Secret clearance is preferred.
