Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and maintain cloud-based software solutions.
- Design and develop Python-based test strategies that simulate complex customer usage scenarios at scale.
- Build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for API, protocol, and system testing.
- Integrate automated APIs and testing into Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement shift-left gating, test data provisioning, and parallel test execution.
- Diagnose and resolve customer issues by recreating production problems and providing workarounds.
- Provide insights that improve product debugging and serviceability features.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS/TLS, L4-L7 protocols, certificates, and network-flow debugging using tcpdump and Wireshark.
- CCNP or equivalent networking knowledge and experience.
- Experience building Python-based frameworks, preferably PyTest, for API, protocol, and system tests.
- Experience testing cloud-based architectures and working with cloud and Kubernetes ecosystems including AWS, Docker, VM, and Proxmox.
- Experience integrating automation into Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including shift-left gating, test data provisioning, and parallel execution.
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions within a functional domain.
- Preferred experience with generative AI developer tools and copilots, security and cloud-security products or architectures, and Zero Trust Network Access architectures.
