Responsibilities
- Define and execute verification strategies for high-level and low-level software requirements.
- Oversee unit, software-software integration, and hardware-software integration testing in host and target environments.
- Investigate and resolve complex issues identified during testing campaigns or reported through in-service flight data.
- Lead and mentor a team of test engineers while ensuring testing best practices.
- Drive and defend verification artifacts during SOI#3 and SOI#4 certification audits.
- Manage verification timelines, resources, delivery milestones, and stakeholder communication.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with DO-178B/C frameworks for safety-critical systems.
- Deep expertise in requirements-based testing and complete requirements-to-test traceability.
- Strong understanding of software configuration management and quality assurance processes.
- Ability to critically review software requirements, design, and C code.
- Understanding of real-time operating system constraints, including scheduling, interrupts, and memory management.
- Experience managing project timelines, resources, and delivery milestones.
- Ability to communicate complex technical risks to project managers and clients.
- Hands-on experience with RTRT (Rational Test RealTime) and SCADE is preferred.
- Knowledge of avionics communication protocols such as ARINC 429 is preferred.
- Experience with Embedded C programming and architectural design is preferred.
