Responsibilities
- Perform automated frontend/UI and backend/API tests, analyze results, and report defects.
- Continuously improve test automation strategy, coverage, efficiency, performance, and usability.
- Develop and enhance automation frameworks to meet business requirements.
- Automate tests for functional requirements and performance KPIs.
- Architect, design, and implement a reliable and scalable automation framework for a machine learning platform.
- Create comprehensive test plans covering business use cases and test cases.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and perform regression testing after fixes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor and guide QA engineers on test automation best practices.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium and API automation.
- 5+ years of experience with Python and/or J2EE technology or an equivalent object-oriented paradigm.
- Experience with frontend and backend web application testing.
- Experience validating tests through APIs or databases, including Snowflake, HIVE, or AWS Athena, is highly desirable.
- Knowledge and experience with Robot Framework and its Python libraries.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Knowledge of Git branching, merging, and conflict resolution workflows.
- Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence is preferred.
- Knowledge of Kafka, Elasticsearch, SQL/NoSQL databases, Aerospike, Thrift, and AWS is highly desirable.
- Experience with Selenium, Appium, or Cucumber is a plus.
- Experience with container-based solutions is a plus.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and analytical skills.
