Base Salary
$128k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Android features that consume and reflect event-driven data from backend systems.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to define and integrate event contracts into mobile applications.
- Improve app performance, reliability, and data consistency across user-facing features.
- Write and maintain tests to ensure correctness of event handling and application behavior.
- Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions to improve engineering quality.
Requirements
- 0-3 years experience building Android applications using Kotlin or Java.
- Experience building UI using Android Views and/or Jetpack Compose.
- Experience integrating APIs and handling real-time or near real-time data.
- Ability to write clear, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Comfortable debugging performance issues and improving application reliability.
- Effective communication skills with engineers, product managers, and designers.
