Base Salary
$165k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full-stack services that automate business processes within AWS Hardware Engineering.
- Own features end to end across frontend, backend, databases, and automated testing.
- Develop serverless solutions using AWS technologies for complex business and customer use cases.
- Identify business problems and deliver scalable services in an ambiguous environment.
- Implement operational metrics to understand how users interact with internal systems.
- Recommend product improvements based on implementation experience and user behavior.
- Collaborate with software engineers, TPMs, PMs, and stakeholders across AWS.
- Participate in frequent production releases and help improve the efficiency of hardware engineering operations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life-cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: Experience with automation or monitoring frameworks and deployment or development.
- Preferred: Experience working in a highly Agile/Scrum environment.
